Prague Travel Guide and Map App Reviews

We found this app very helpful on guiding us on a walking tour of Prague. We were fortunate to have continuous wifi in the Old Town. Never got lost, and great commentary and history details on the major tourist destinations.

This is an excellent offline map app series. The GPS support seemed a bit slow to update, but finding attractions and directions are accurate. Open the map and double click on a "W" icon before leaving to make it download the full Wikipedia articles for your city.

The advertisements at the bottom of the page are very distracting and there is no way to turn them off.

I downloaded the Ulmon guide for four cities in preparation for a recent trip to Europe: Munich Prague Vienna and Amsterdam. You can drop pins, actually stars on places that youre interested in visiting including sites restaurants hotels etc. The off-line maps are fantastic and the articles helpful. I tend to keep my phone on airplane mode when I am out of the United States this app was fantastic because I was able to use the map even when I wasnt in Wi-Fi. Download the guides before you go on your trip if possible this way you can read and save articles but if you dont download it until youre there thats fine too.

Usually dont rate apps but after a trip to Europe using this offline maps, I can asure you, this app will make your trip easier and you wont miss any important spot in the city. I used London, Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague, Vienna, Venice, Rome, Florence, Barcelona, Madrid and Lisbon! In Budapest I felt lost because they dont have a map for this city but Google also doesnt have a map for Budapest offline. Ill put 6 stars but I cant so 5 its the closest. One more thing, all this is for FREE! And this is not all, also you can download the information about the historic places in the city and then you can get the info offline. You have to try it!!

Great app, really saved me in Prague

Just got back from Prague and loved using this app. Downloaded the map and didnt have to use any data as gps tracked me without any data or wifi. Great listing of restaurants etc. and sites.

Before I left on trip I marked the hotel and various venues I planned to visit. It was extremely useful. Transportation sites were invaluable.

Prague is not super difficult to figure out but its not super easy either. Having this offline map that blends nicely with GPS so you know where you are going is amazing. Save your favorite restaurants/pubs/museums/churches/etc in specific categories for easy retrieval or just click on stars on map once saved to figure out how to get there. This was one of the best offline tourist apps Ive ever downloaded. Well worth it.

Havent been there yet, but its been a big help so far in planning my trip!

Amazing app, really very helpfull and this is exactly what i looking for my trip. Thank you for this app!!! Would be good also to add additional features like: note on every mark on map or changing color of every saved place already visited.
